Pike County Criminal Records

Pike County criminal records can be ordered online, by mail, or in person at the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts. Online orders can be made using the two options below:

  • FastCheck: Users have to register an account to log in to use this website. The delivery method is online.
  • One-Time Request: This portal allows users to place a single order. The delivery method is U.S. mail.

Mail requesters can submit a Criminal Record Request Form with the appropriate fees to the Office. The acceptable form of payment is a check or money order. The form and the fee should be sent to:

In-person requests can be made at the drive-thru window at the Administrative Office of the Courts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Copies of criminal records cost a $25.00 fee, payable by check, money order, or credit/debit cards (such as Discover, American Express, MasterCard, and Visa). Card payments attract an extra 2.25% of the transaction amount or $2.50, whichever is greater. The processing time is a few minutes, but requests of 10 or more take about an hour.

Get Pike County Civil Court Records

The Pike County Circuit has general jurisdiction over civil matters involving more than $5,000, while the District Court has limited jurisdiction over civil cases involving $5,000 or less. Residents can view or get copies of civil court records through the following means:

  • Online: Record seekers can utilize CourtNet 2.0 to search civil court records. A search can be conducted by case or party/business name. Users can access the portal as guests and select the appropriate county to view civil case records for free. Older civil court records can be copied online via the KDLA Records Ordering System. The fee for this service is $20 for in-state customers, $25 for out-of-state customers, and a processing fee of $1.50.
  • In-person: Individuals can visit the Circuit or District Court from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to request copies of civil court records. The Clerk of these courts charges a small fee for plain and certified copies of records: $0.25 for plain copies and $5 for certified copies.
  • By email: Copies of civil court records between 15 and 35 years old can be requested by email at state.records@ky.gov. Requesters should email a completed Record Request Form with a case number and locator numbers.
  • By mail: Copies of civil court records that are 36 years or older can be requested by mail from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA). Mail a completed Civil Case Record Request Form and the fee of $10 or $15 in the form of a check or money order. The processing time is between 4 and 6 weeks. The mailing address is:

Pike County Marriage Records

Individuals can get older marriage records in person at the Pike County Clerk’s Office. However, it is advisable to call the clerk at (606) 432-6211 prior to such in-person requests. Pike County marriage records from June 1958 till the present can be ordered online, by phone, by mail, drop off, or in person at the Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics (OVS). Orders attract a $6 fee for each certified copy and $6 for each additional copy. Online and phone orders are processed through a third-party vendor, attracting extra charges payable by credit cards or checks.

Those who want to submit their requests by mail should complete the Marriage and Divorce Application (English or Spanish) Form and send it to the Office with the applicable fees. The Office accepts checks or money orders for mail-in applications. In-person and drop-off requests can be made at the Office during business hours.

Pike County Divorce Records

Record seekers can obtain divorce records at the Pike County Circuit Court Family Division. They can use the Online Search portal to view these records or visit the Clerk’s Office in person during business hours. The portal will only return results when a name or case number is entered into the appropriate search field. Individuals requesting divorce records at the Office should be ready to pay a search or copy fee.

The Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics (OVS) also issues Pike County divorce records to customers for a fee online, by phone, by mail, drop off, or in person. Certified copies of the record cost $6, and each additional copy also costs $6. The means of paying these fees depends on the ordering method. For example, online orders are paid by credit cards, while checks or money orders pay mail orders. Note that online orders attract additional fees because third-party vendors process them. Older divorce records can be retrieved online or by mail from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives. Pike Birth and Death Records

The Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics (OVS) is the custodian of all birth and death records in Kentucky. These Pike County vital records are available to the public for a fee. The Pike County District Court handles matters involving probate of wills, while the Circuit Courts hear contested probate cases. Individuals can view probate court records online via CourtNet 2.0. Pike County Property Records

The Pike County PVA provides a free basic Property Search tool that helps record seekers find information about property ownership. Users searching for more comprehensive property information can purchase a Subscription Service to access a property’s transfer history, property photos, improvement characteristics, property class, and tax information. The PVA also provides property records in person to members of the public.
