Ohio County Marriage Records

Eligible applicants may obtain certified copies of Ohio County marriage records from June 1958 to the present from the Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics.

The Office of Vital Statistics charges $6.00 for a certified copy of Ohio County's marriage certificate and $6.00 for each additional copy. Applicants using the mail-in request option must pay for their request order with a check or money order payable to the Kentucky State Treasurer. The custodial agency does not accept cash, and fees are non-refundable.

Applicants must download and complete the marriage certificate application for mail requests. They must mail the completed application form, a photocopy of their valid photo ID, and a $6.00 check or money order to the following address:

Ohio County Divorce Records

Ohio County divorce certificates are obtainable from the Kentucky Vital Statistics Office. Eligible requesters may submit their request orders online (through a state-approved vendor), in person, by drop box, or by mail.

To obtain divorce certificates, applicants must complete a divorce certificate application and provide approved identification and payment (money order or check). They must mail the application packet to the Kentucky Vital Statistics Office at the address above.

Ohio Birth Records

Eligible applicants may order certified copies of Ohio County birth certificates from the Kentucky Vital Statistics (records from 1911 to date).

When submitting a birth certificate request, applicants must include a copy of a valid ID, the filled-out and signed application form, any additional proof of authorization required, and a signed check or money order payable to the Kentucky State Treasurer.

The Office of Vital Statistics charges a non-refundable $10.00 as a search fee and a certified copy of a birth certificate.
