Knox County Marriage Records
Eligible parties may request certified copies of Knox County marriage records from the Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics, the record custodian since June 1958.
The Vital Statistics Office charges $6.00 for a certified copy of Knox County's marriage certificate and $6.00 for each extra copy. Requesters may apply for marriage certificates online (state-approved vendor), by phone, mail, or drop box.
Requesters wishing to mail their marriage record requests must download and complete the marriage certificate application form. They must mail the completed application form, a photocopy of the applicant's valid photo ID, and the relevant fee to the following address:

Knox County Divorce Records
Eligible parties may acquire Knox County divorce certificates from the Kentucky Vital Statistics Office. They may submit their record requests online (through a state-approved vendor), in person, by drop box, or by mail.
